Prof. MUDr. Ladislav Mirossay, DrSc., the rector of the P.J. Šafárik University in Košice received students of the university – the winners of the nationwide finale of the Slovak University Basketball Championship on the premises of the Rectorate in June 17, 2015. In June 10-11, 2015 the Slovak University Basketball Championship took place, which was organized by the Faculty of Arts of Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica. Our university was represented by the women’s team, which is part of the following basketball associations: Cassovia Košice, Tydam UPJŠ Košice and CBK Košice. The rector thanked to the players for their successful representation, and congratulated them. The champion title had been acquired by the following players of PJŠU in Košice:
