Three top research teams function at the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice

The Accreditation Commission, the advisory body of the Slovak government, had approved the project named „Identification of top research teams at the universities of the Slovak Republic“ in April 2 – 4, 2014. Based on the Commission’s call, the universities handed in 77 proposals, while the process of selection was running through several stages from October 2014. The working teams of the commission chose 44 teams based on the established criteria and statement of international experts, from which 37 were accepted and identified as top research teams of the Slovak universities. Two reserach teams of the Faculty of Science and one research team of the Faculty of Medicine of the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice were placed among the top research teams of the Slovak universities.
