The Department of Anatomy , FM UPJŠ and Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology of Locomotory Apparatus organized a workshop focused on topographic anatomy and operation procedures of the knees, shins, ankles and feet. Doctors-orthopaedists acquainted themselves with detailed topographic anatomy of this area and practiced operation procedures on cadavers in the dissecting room.
"The aim of the workshop was to deepen the education and training of orthopaedists and to train a surgical procedures outside of the operating room, because it is necessary to have different approaches in the mind. We need to have good spatial orientation, in order to achieve what we intend and not damage what we do not want," explains the primary of the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology of Locomotory Apparatus, FM UPJŠ and UNLP MUDr. Róbert Čellár, PhD., MPH., who described the workshop as a very successful event, which met the expectations of its participants.
