Application procedure for incoming Erasmus students

Before you come to study to Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice, you have to get through some procedure:

1.    Contact International Relations Office of your home University and find out whether your department or University has a Bilateral Agreement with Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice for the respective academic year. You can also refer to our list of Partner Universities (Partner Universities according to Countries, Partner Universities according to Field of Study).

2.    If your department or university has a Bilateral Agreement with Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice and you have been officially nominated by your home University as Socrates Erasmus Student, print and fill in the Student Application Form. For further information about your study programme, please look at the relevant ECTS Information Package, contact the responsible Departmental Erasmus Coordinator of our University and print and fill in Learning Agreement Form. Learning Agreement Form is to be confirmed/signed by Institutional and Departmental Socrates Erasmus Coordinator of your home University. If you wish to use the University Accommodation facilities, please print out and fill in the Accommodation Application Form. 

3.    Send all forms (Student Application Form, Learning Agreement and Accommodation Application Form) to us via e-mail, fax or post. Deadlines for applications are June 30^th for Winter Semester and November 30^th for Summer Semester.

4.    Copies of all documents approved by our University will be sent by fax or e-mail to your home University (IRO). Our LLP/Erasmus Coordinator will also inform you without delay by e-mail about acceptance for a study programme and about your accommodation.
