Since December 5, negotiations were held. round table, in which President Adamec negotiated with representatives of newly formed movements and political parties. On December 7, Prime Minister Adamec filed a resignation and was commissioned by Marián Čalfa. On 10 December 1989, President Gustáv Husák resigned, but before appointing a new government, of the 20 ministers, 11 were non-Communists and 9 were Communists. On the same day there was a march from Bratislava to Hainburg with the slogan Hello Europe. It was attended by 100,000 citizens in the manifesto and marked the fact of the removal of the ‘ Iron Curtain ‘ in Slovakia.
