UPJŠ in Košice was also part of the International Peace Marathon

Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice has been participating for several years in the International Peace Marathon in Košice and in the regular support of patients with multiple myeloma. The 96th MMM was no exception. On Sunday 6th October 2019 UPJŠ in Košice again supported an excellent idea and contributed to raising awareness of this disease in the eyes of the general public. The International Peace Marathon was attended by the Vice-Rector for International Relations and Mobility, doc. Ing. Silvia Ručinská, PhD., Vice-Rector for Higher Education, Academic Traditions and Ceremonies prof. PaedDr. Martin Pekár, PhD., Chair of the Academic Senate of UPJŠ Assoc. Prof. Renáta Bačárová, PhD., LL.M. and Bursar RNDr. Ing. Michal Tkáč, PhD.

Part of this year’s MMM was also marathon superstar Ingrid Kristiansen. One of the best cross-country skiers in world history visited the University of Pavol Jozef Šafárik in Košice on Friday, October 4, 2019. Rector of UPJŠ prof.
