UPJŠ Rector, Prof. MUDr. Ladislav Mirossay, DrSc. and the Vice-Rector for International Relations, doc. Mgr. Slávka Tomaščíková, PhD. visited Yuriy Fedkovych National University in Chernivtsi between the 2nd and 4th May 2012. During their stay they met with the university management, visited the Faculty of Law and its units, Faculty of Biology, Faculty of Chemistry and the International Relations Department to discuss the areas of possible future cooperation – students’ and academic staff exchanges, joint scientific projects and cross-border cooperation projects.
The UPJŠ Rector signed the Memorandum of Understanding between UPJŠ and Yuriy Fedkovych National University in Chernivtsi, Ukraine in order to develop close cooperation in the field of higher education and research.
