Minister of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the SR Visited UPJŠ

University education generally belongs among the basic social topics. Its primary function is to create the social elite and gather erudition in different fields of human knowledge. The actual state of university education in Slovakia was presented on the premises of Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice by the Minister of Education, Science, Research and Sport, Eugen Jurzyca. On the 21st February 2012 the Minister gave a lecture entitled “Increasing the Quality of University Education” in UPJŠ Great Auditorium. In an active discussion with the UPJŠ staff and students  he  answered a lot of questions about  university education problems, current trends, and  importance of values in education.
