On the 1st February 2012, Václav Klaus, the President of the Czech Republic, appointed new professors in accordance with Law Act No. 111/1998 Coll. on universities and on the changes of and/or amendments to some of the law acts as amended. The nomination degrees were presented to two UPJŠ staff members:

♦ prof. Ing. Mária Mareková, CSc.
– Medical Chemistry and Biochemistry
