“Professor Emeritus” for the Significant Contribution to the Field of Science and Education.

In accordance with § 78 of Act No. 131/2002 Coll. on universities and on the changes of and/or amendments to some of the law acts as amended, based on the proposal of the Dean of the UPJŠ Faculty of Medicine and the approval by UPJŠ Scientific Board, the UPJŠ Rector prof. MUDr. Ladislav Mirossay, DrSc. awarded the honorary title of “Professor Emeritus” to prof. MUDr. Július Vajó, DrSc., for his significant contribution to the field of science and education. The UPJŠ Rector and UPJŠ Vice-Rector for Science and Research hosted the awarded professor in the premises of the Rector’s Office on the 13th December 2012 and they personally presented the decree to prof. MUDr. Július Vajó, DrSc.
