The Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice has established the Technology and Innovation Park TIP-UPJŠ with effect from September 4, 2017. The aim of the establishment is to support the activities primarily within the field of translational research in the development of new technologies and thus to contribute to the development of the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice as a modern university, which is based on the synergy of three pillars: education, science and transfer of technologies, emphasising the development of innovative teaching, capitalizable science, and creative environment for the establishment of innovative high-tech firms.
