"I see the position of the Faculty of Medicine of UPJŠ in the ARRA evaluation as confirmation of its undisputed quality in teaching Slovak and foreign students. A significant increase in prospective students primarily from developed countries of Western Europe is an expression of the quality and attractiveness of UPJŠ brand internationally. UPJŠ MF gained in recent years significant funding primarily from EU structural funds, which significantly improved the quality of not only training, but also create new opportunities for the purchase of modern equipment. It contributes to development of preclinical and clinical research, which likely in the near future will be reflected in increase of quality publications and consequently in their citation. Because of many top professional employees at least European caliber who work at the Faculty of Medicine, I would assume that the Faculty of Medicine will have a better future and even better place in the world ranking," said on the outcome of the ARRA evaluation of the Faculty of Medicine of UPJŠ Prof. MUDr. Daniel Pella, PhD., the Dean of UPJŠ MF.
