The 1st Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Medicine organized a closing course CEEA of the 6-year cycle

      The 1st Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Medicine organized the 6th course CEEA which concluded  the  6-year cycle of the Slovak anesthesiologists education on days 26. – 28. 11. 2014.
     The 1st Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Medicine organized the 6th course CEEA which concluded  the  6-year cycle of the Slovak anesthesiologists education on days 26. – 28. 11. 2014. The conference contributed to improving the quality and safety of anesthesia, intensive care and resuscitation in Slovakia and was attended by nearly sixty anesthesiologists from Slovakia and 27 of them received diplomas ESA for final completion of all six courses. Slovak Centre of the CEEA in Kosice is a part of network of centers in Europe, but also in South and Central America and Asia, which organize in a uniform style series of six innovative postgraduate courses with specific topics in anesthesiology. The courses are organized by the European Society of Anaesthesiology. In Slovakia, the courses are organized annually since 1996 and since 2009 exclusively in Kosice. The lecturers are not only experts from the 1st Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Medicine but also top experts from Slovakia, the Czech Republic and other European countries. "The CEEA courses organized by the 1st Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Medicine help Slovak Anaesthesiology and Intensive Medicine to keep up with the developed world," said MUDr. Jozef Wallenfels.
