Professors of medicine Tomas Ganz and Peter Ganz from the USA, the sons of Professor William Ganz- the inventor of the Swan-Ganz catheter invented in Slovakia, lectured at the Medical Faculty on Monday, April 18, 2016. Their lectures were presented at the scientific meeting of the Association of Medical Practitioners in Kosice. The main topic of the pulmonologist Tomas Ganz was the regulation of iron metabolism and the cardiologist Peter Ganz focused on Proteomics of cardiovascular diseases and aging.
