Extrapolations is a Slovak event, aimed at supporting the development of IT in research, education and business in Slovakia. The event is organized annually in various Slovak cities, with one of them becoming the capital city of informatics, dominant in presenting its own quality, possibilities and capabilities, but also its problems.
It organizes presentations of as many IT organizations in a certain city and region as possible. Other Slovak cities also take part in the event. Their participation proves the level of the Extrapolations all across the country. In 2018, Žilina became the capital city of computer science.
