German Academic Exchange Service scholarships and grants for the academic year 2021/2022


Monbukagakusho MEXT 2023

The scholarship programme of the Japanese Government is aimed at undergraduate students and graduates (or graduate students). The deadline for applications is May 19, 2022. Written exam is scheduled for June 13, 2022, subsequently, the applicants will be invited to an interview held on June 20, 2022. The applicants need to have a perfect knowledge of English and a keen interest in learning Japanese.


National Scholarship Programme of the Slovak Republic (SAIA)

The National Scholarship Programme of the Slovak Republic supports the mobilities of international students, PhD students, university teachers, researchers, and artists at Slovak institutions of higher education and research organisations.

Aktion Österreich - Slowakei (SAIA)

The Aktion Österreich - Slowakei programme supports cooperation between Austria and the Slovak Republic in higher education, science, and research. The programme is equally financed by the Ministry of Education, Science, Research, and Sport of the Slovak Republic and the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science, and Research.



The Central European Exchange Programme for University Studies (CEEPUS) supports academic mobilities in Central, Eatern, and Southeastern Europe.


The International Visegrad Fund

The International Visegrad Fund aims to support cooperation between the V4 countries through cultural, reasearch, and educational projects, student exchanges, cross-border cooperation, and tourism.
