\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Rector of UPJ\u0160 in Ko\u0161ice, prof. RNDr. Pavol Sov\u00e1k, CSc., and the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, UPJ\u0160, prof. MUDr. Daniel Pella, PhD., officially visited Charles University in Prague on May 26, 2021. The culmination of the visit was the act of signing the Agreement on Scientific, Pedagogical and Cultural Cooperation between the Charles University and the UPJ\u0160. In the above-mentioned Agreement, both parties declare a common interest in intensified medical cooperation in the field of scientific research and pedagogy, including the implementation of part of teaching, as well as cooperation in the field of treatment and prevention in the international context and implementation of complementary activities. Both representatives of UPJ\u0160 were also hosted by the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic – Mgr. Radek Vondr\u00e1\u010dek. In a friendly discussion, they focused on the subject of cooperation between the Charles University and the UPJ\u0160, and the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies praised the cooperation in the joint education of future doctors. As a lawyer, he was also actively interested in the tradition of educating lawyers at the UPJ\u0160 Faculty of Law. During the business trip, there was an opportunity for a meeting of the rectors of Charles University, UPJ\u0160 and the dean of Faculty of Medicine of UPJ\u0160 with the chairman of the National Accreditation Office of the Czech Republic JUDr. Ivan Baran\u010d\u00edk, PhD.
