\tThe Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) launched the Assessment of Higher Education Learning Outcomes (AHELO) , in which\u00a0 Pavol Jozef \u0160af\u00e1rik University in Ko\u0161ice \u00a0is also taking part. This study is focused on the quality of university education and will measure and compare learning outcomes at universities around the world. Therefore 16 countries<\/a> representing a wide range of cultures and languages are involved in this feasibility study: Australia, Belgium, Canada, Colombia, Egypt, Finland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Kuwait, Mexico, The Netherlands, Norway, The Russian Federation, The United States and The Slovak Republic.<\/p>\n

\tThe quality of university education has been a\u00a0frequent topic of discussions not only at the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic, but also at Pavol Jozef \u0160af\u00e1rik University, hence the opportunity to take part in Ahelo project was welcomed by the management at the university and the faculties\u2019 level.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
