\tOn the 26 March 2013 Ms Cynthia Carr, an expert of the Fullbright Commission from the University of California, Riverside, visited UPJ\u0160. The visit was organized by Mgr. M\u00e1ria \u010ceke\u0161ov\u00e1 and co-financed by the Slovak Rector’s Conference. She was met by the UPJ\u0160 Rector, prof. MUDr. Ladislav Mirossay, DrSc. and the Vice-Rector for International Relations, doc. Mgr. Sl\u00e1vka Toma\u0161\u010d\u00edkov\u00e1, PhD. at the Rectorate. In very friendly atmosphere they discussed the possibilities of cooperation with American universities within Fullbright Expert Programme and the importance of contacts with university graduates via Alumni Clubs.
\tMs Carr visited the laboratories of the Faculty of Arts in the “Aristotle” building and the University Library building “Gutenberg”. She met prof. Ing.
