\tThe rector of the Pavol Jozef \u0160af\u00e1rik University in Ko\u0161ice prof. MUDr. Ladislav Mirossay, DrSc. received 4 representatives of the Folk Ensemble Horn\u00e1d (Martin Ba\u010da, \u0160tefan \u0160tec, Du\u0161ana Nou\u0161kov\u00e1, Ingrid Starcov\u00e1) on the grounds of the rectorate in July 30, 2015, who with the other members of the ensemble had successfully represented our alma mater on the prestigious university folk ensemble festival \u201cAkedemick\u00fd Zvolen\u201d in July 7 – 9, 2015. The rector appreciated the development of the ensemble and its great advancement during its long years of existence. \u0160tefan \u0160tec, the author of the winning choreography with the title \u201cIba obraz\u201d claimed that he really appreciates the prize for the adaptation of two research video recordings from the 1906s that recorded dance without sound. By the inspirationally adapted \u010darda\u0161 from an unknown village in the Zempl\u00edn region and the by dances from Pstru\u0161a they persuaded the professional jury, the 11 other folk ensembles in the competition, and the audience of the festival that they deserved the victory. They defended their first place from last year, and confirmed that folk art is their love. We cordially congratulate all the members of the ensemble on the achieved success.<\/p>\n
