RNDr. Pavol Mi\u0161kovsk\u00fd, DrSc."},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \tThe presentation ceremony Slovak Scientist of the year 2014, which was held by Slovak Centre of Scientific and Technical Information, Slovak Academy of Sciences and Association of Slovak Scientific and Technological Societies for the 18<sup>th<\/sup> time in Bratislava on May 12<sup>th\u00a0 <\/sup>2015. The aim of competition is to regard highly and socially highlight Slovak scientists and technologists of natural and technological fields and research for the contribution of their scientific studies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \tProf. RNDr. Pavol Mi\u0161kovsk\u00fd, DrSc. head of the Center for Interdisciplinary Biosciences, won the cathegory \u201cPerson of the year within EU programmes\u201d for his significant part of the preparation and coordination as a responsible solutionist of the successful project 7. RP EU granted in Slovakia (Fostering excellence in multiscale cell imaging) and also for Slovak participation in EuroBioImaging.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \tPresent at the ceremony were: president of SR Andrej Kiska, assistant secretary of education, sciences, research and sport department Romana Kanovsk\u00e1, director general of Slovak Centre of Scientific and Technical Information prof. Ing. J\u00e1n Tur\u0148a, CSc. president of SAS prof. RNDr. Pavol \u0160ajgal\u00edk, DrSc. and president of Association of Slovak Scientific and Technological Societies prof. Ing. Du\u0161an Petr\u00e1\u0161, PhD., EUR ING. Evaluation commission was led by vice-president of SAS, RNDr. Eva Majkov\u00e1, DrSc.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \tPavol Jozef \u0160af\u00e1rik University in Ko\u0161ice was represented on behalf of rector UPJ\u0160 prof. MUDr. Ladislav Mirossay, DrSc. by prof. RNDr. Juraj \u010cern\u00e1k, CSc., vice-rector for Science and Research and doc.
