\tThe two-time holder of the prestigious Pulitzer Prize, the influential American investigative journalist James B. Steele visited in November 5, 2015 on Thursday, the Pavol Jozef \u0160af\u00e1rik University Ko\u0161ice in order to meet the future journalists and media workers, who study at the Faculty of Arts of the Pavol Jozef \u0160af\u00e1rik University in Ko\u0161ice. In his lecture with the title Truth Telling in An Age of Global Secrecy<\/em><\/strong> he concentrated on the importance of the journalists\u2019 work from the perspective of the public\u2019s right to truthful information, and from the perspective of the journalist, whose mission is to uncover truthful information and to present them to the public. \u00a0It was the third lecture from the series of the cycle Personalities personally, within which two laureates of the Pulitzer Prize Abigail Goldman (2013) a\u00a0Walt Bogdanich (2014) had visited the grounds of the university in the past two years. As part of the event a\u00a0workshop took place with selected students from the study programme Media studies in the Television and Film Studio of the Faculty of Arts of the Pavol Jozef \u0160af\u00e1rik University in Ko\u0161ice in the Aristotle building.<\/p>\n
