Among the recipients were the employees and teams of the Pavol Jozef \u0160af\u00e1rik University in Ko\u0161ice as well.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ko\u0161ice City Award<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prof. MUDr. Zolt\u00e1n Tomori, DrSc. for his lifelong achievements in the field of basic research on the regulation of breathing and for participating in the establishment of sleep medicine in Slovakia and in the world<\/li>\n<li>the team of the 1<sup>st<\/sup> department of anaesthesiology and intensive medicine of the Faculty of Medicine at the\u00a0 Pavol Jozef \u0160af\u00e1rik University in Ko\u0161ice and the Louis Pasteur University Hospital on the occasion of the 50<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of establishing the first hospital ward in the former Czechoslovakia<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Ko\u0161ice City Mayor\u2019s Award <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the team of the Department of Surgery of the Faculty of Medicine and of the Ko\u0161ice \u2013 \u0160aca Hospital a.s. on the occasion of their 55<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of establishment, and for their contribution in the development of mini-invasive surgery in Slovakia<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Ko\u0161ice City Mayor\u2019s Plaque<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the team of the Department of Neurosurgery of the Faculty of Medicine and the\u00a0 Louis Pasteur University Hospital for their long-term high-quality specialised healthcare in the Eastern Slovak Region<\/li>\n<li>the research team of the Faculty of Arts of the Pavol Jozef \u0160af\u00e1rik University in Ko\u0161ice under the supervision of prof. Ing.
