The Pavol Jozef \u0160af\u00e1rik University in Ko\u0161ice participated in the meetings of the universities from the Ko\u0161ice region and the Austrian universities and scientific institutions from the federal state of Styria, which took place in 3-4 October 2018 in Graz. The meeting was initiated by the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Vienna in order to stimulate the cooperation of the individual educational and scientific institutions from both regions. During the meeting, at which our university was represented by the rector of the university prof. RNDr. Pavol Sov\u00e1k, CSc. and by the Vice-Rector for International Relations and Mobility Assoc. Prof. Ing. Silvia Ru\u010dinsk\u00e1, PhD., the Memorandum of Cooperation was signed by the following universities: Pavol Jozef \u0160af\u00e1rik University in Ko\u0161ice, Technical University of Ko\u0161ice, University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Ko\u0161ice, FH Joanneum University of Applied Sciences, Montanuniversit\u00e4t Leoben, and Joanneum Research. The event was also attended by the Secretary of the Federal State of Styria for Economy, Tourism, Europe, Science and Research Barbara Eibinger-Mied, who strongly supports this bilateral cooperation and the development of education.
