The UPJ\u0160 delegation led by rector Pavol Sov\u00e1k and vice-rector for informatization and quality management Gabriel Semani\u0161in took part in the annual EIT Digital conference #GROWDIGITAL23<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>, which took place at the beginning of June in Brussels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EIT Digital was established in 2010 as one of the first EIT KICs (Knowledge and Innovation Communities). It is currently one of the largest digital innovation ecosystems in Europe, focusing on digital entrepreneurship, innovation, talent support and digital skills development. At UPJ\u0160 in Ko\u0161ice, activities related to EIT Digital are covered primarily by the Department of Informatics at the Faculty of Science. Among the first implemented projects is the\u00a0InnoChange<\/mark><\/a><\/strong> project, the results of which were presented at the IVAP workshop<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. A significant revolution is caused by generative artificial intelligence, great expectations are associated with quantum computing, DNA computing, new progressive materials.
