On Monday, 21 August 2023, Rector Pavol Sov\u00e1k and the university management appointed by him officially ended their term of office. On 22 August 2023<\/strong> began the tenure of the new Rector of UPJ\u0160, prof. MUDr. Daniel Pella, PhD.<\/a><\/strong> On this occasion, the new Rector Pella presented letters of authorization for the performance of the agenda of Vice-Rectors to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

prof. MVDr. Monika Hal\u00e1nov\u00e1, PhD.<\/a><\/strong> – Vice-Rector for Academic Qualifications and PhD Studies, and person in charge of representing the Rector in his absence;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

prof. RNDr. Ren\u00e1ta Ori\u0148akov\u00e1, DrSc.<\/a><\/strong> – Vice-Rector for Science, Research and Grants;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. h. c. prof. MUDr. Pavol Jar\u010du\u0161ka, PhD.<\/a><\/strong> – Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Investments;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

JUDr. \u013dudmila Elbert, PhD.<\/a><\/strong> – Vice-Rector for Undergraduate and Lifelong Learning;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. h. c. prof. Mgr. Sl\u00e1vka Toma\u0161\u010d\u00edkov\u00e1, PhD.<\/a><\/strong> – Vice-Rector for International Relations and Internationalization;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

doc. Ing. Silvia Ru\u010dinsk\u00e1, PhD., University Professor<\/a><\/strong> – Vice-Rector for International Studies and Mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Rector also informed about the planned addition of two positions to the team of Vice-Rectors:
\u2219<\/strong> Vice-Rector for the Concept and Quality of Education;
\u2219<\/strong> Vice-Rector for Marketing, Public Relations, Culture, Arts and Sport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Rector also authorized Ing. Ivan Pezlar, DBA, MBA<\/a><\/strong><\/a><\/strong> to perform the function of UPJ\u0160 Quaestor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Former members of the UPJ\u0160 management were also invited to the first meeting of the new management of UPJ\u0160, on behalf of whom professor Sov\u00e1k wished the new leadership much success and strength.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
