Pavol Jozef \u0160af\u00e1rik University in Ko\u0161ice sent representatives to the NAFSA2024<\/a><\/mark><\/strong> conference and expo, which took place in the US state of Louisiana on May 28 – 31, 2024, in the city of New Orleans<\/strong>. UPJ\u0160 was represented at the prestigious international fair for higher education by the Vice-Rector for International Relations, professor Sl\u00e1vka Toma\u0161\u010d\u00edkov\u00e1, PhD.<\/strong>, and assistant professor<\/strong>, J\u00falius Rozenfeld, PhD.<\/strong>, from the Department of English and American Studies of the UPJ\u0160 Faculty of Arts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Representatives of our university had a busy schedule – they had meetings with representatives of teaching and research departments to establish new partnerships and gained valuable contacts at many American universities. They also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, thus institutionalizing the existing collaboration of our natural scientists. The UPJ\u0160 representatives also had the opportunity to get to know Slovaks living in the USA<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The NAFSA2024 Global Conference and Expo brought together educators from all corners of the world to discover the latest innovations, strategies, and practices in education.
