{"id":92071,"date":"2025-06-06T14:24:09","date_gmt":"2025-06-06T12:24:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.upjs.sk\/aktuality\/novovymenovani-profesori-na-upjs-v-kosiciach-2\/"},"modified":"2025-06-18T09:27:48","modified_gmt":"2025-06-18T07:27:48","slug":"novovymenovani-profesori-na-upjs-v-kosiciach-2","status":"publish","type":"cpt_aktuality","link":"https:\/\/www.upjs.sk\/en\/actualities\/novovymenovani-profesori-na-upjs-v-kosiciach-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Newly appointed professors at UPJ\u0160 in Ko\u0161ice"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On Thursday, 5 June 2025, Peter Pellegrini, the President of the Slovak Republic, appointed 24 new university professors at the Presidential Palace in Bratislava, in the presence of the Minister of Education, Research, Development and Youth, Tom\u00e1\u0161 Drucker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In his speech, Peter Pellegrini emphasized that Slovakia&#8217;s greatest asset is its human potential \u2013 the knowledge and creativity of its people. It is precisely the effective use of this potential that determines the performance and competitiveness of the Slovak economy, as well as the country\u2019s overall social and civilizational progress and its ability to face challenges and problems. He stressed that the common goal must be for Slovakia not to lag behind at this crucial moment, but to move forward in line with 21st-century trends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>President Pellegrini wished the newly appointed professors success in this new phase of their personal lives and careers, in which their previous experience and expertise will be put to good use. He expressed his belief that this appointment will serve as motivation for the future \u2013 both for the professors themselves and for society as a whole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Two professors from UPJ\u0160 also received the appointment decrees from the President:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.upjs.sk\/karta-zamestnanca\/\">prof. RNDr. Miroslava Rabajdov\u00e1 PhD<\/a>.<\/strong> \u2013 in the field of habilitation and inauguration proceedings in Clinical Biochemistry<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.upjs.sk\/karta-zamestnanca\/\"><strong>doc.
