Doc. Ing. Silvia Ru\u010dinsk\u00e1, PhD<\/strong>., university professor, Vice-Rector for Internationalization, representing the Rector of UPJ\u0160, together with Prof. JUDr. Miroslav \u0160trkolc, PhD<\/strong>., Dean of the Faculty of Law of UPJ\u0160, welcomed representatives of the management of the Polish University of Rzesz\u00f3w to the Rector’s Office of UPJ\u0160 on 22 July 2025. prof. dr hab. n. med Adam Reich<\/a>, Rector, and Dr hab. J\u00f3zef Cebulski, prof. UR<\/a>, Prof. UR, Vice-Rector for Finance and Development visited our university to discuss current cooperation between the institutions and its further development, particularly in the area of university internationalization and the mutual sharing of management solutions, as well as at the level of individual departments in the context of project submissions, mobility, and the organization of scientific events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the discussion, Rector Reich emphasized the importance of university competitiveness, to which Vice-Rector Ru\u010dinsk\u00e1 responded as follows: “It is essential for universities to be able to respond to current global trends in education and research.” The discussion continued with a focus on the complexity of perceiving and evaluating the performance of individual scientific fields. Dean \u0160trkolec supported the idea of the need for a broader debate on the uniqueness of individual departments and scientific disciplines.<\/p>\n\n\n
