On 10\u201311 June 2025, the Faculty of Law at Pavol Jozef \u0160af\u00e1rik University in Ko\u0161ice hosted American attorney John Walsh.<\/strong> Through a series of lectures and discussions focused on the topic \u201cLaw and Regulation in a Disrupted World: The Case of Securities\u201d<\/em>, he provided valuable insights and experiences to our full-time and part-time doctoral students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the first part of the lectures, several factors disrupting the legal and regulatory environment were addressed, with a particular focus on securities regulation. In the second part, Mr. Walsh proposed ten steps in legal and regulatory policy\u2014especially in the area of securities\u2014that, in his view, should be considered as we navigate a new legal landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event took place within the framework of the project Audit of the level of internationalisation and implementation of internationalisation projects of higher education institutions and research Institutions<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, project code: K10-I4-48, Objective 21: Supporting the internationalisation of education at the Faculty of Law, Activity 21.3: Inviting international experts to support educational and research activities.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
