The conference brought together academics, students, experts and leaders from member universities of the Aurora Alliance to discuss the future of higher education, research, sustainability, and social impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The university was represented by <strong>doc. Ing. Silvia Ru\u010dinsk\u00e1, PhD.<\/strong>, Vice-Rector for Internationalization, and <strong>prof. PaedDr. Martin Pek\u00e1r, PhD.<\/strong> from the Department of History, Faculty of Arts, UPJ\u0160 in Ko\u0161ice, as coordinator of Activity 8.2 \u2013 Internationalization at home. During the conference, the Vice-Rector gave a presentation on the activities of UPJ\u0160 in the Aurora Alliance, in which she presented the position of the Aurora Alliance in the strategic management of the university as well as specific activities of the university implemented since the beginning of UPJ\u0160&#8217;s membership in the Aurora Alliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Student representatives <strong>Simona Gibalov\u00e1 (Faculty of Medicine, UPJ\u0160)<\/strong> and <strong>Ing. Michaela Luka\u010d\u00ednov\u00e1 (Faculty of Public Administration, UPJ\u0160) <\/strong>participated as members of the Aurora Student Council. Simona Gibalov\u00e1 also spoke during the plenary session on the topic of &#8220;Empowering Voices: Advocating for Students&#8217; Rights Across Europe&#8221; and subsequently participated in a roundtable discussion on the topic of &#8220;University of Tomorrow&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n<style>.kb-row-layout-id93997_cafad6-72 > class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>workshops on microcredits, COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) and joint study programmes,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>meetings of vice-rectors of member universities,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and a student section dedicated to strengthening the voice of students within the Alliance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Participation in the conference was an important opportunity to exchange experiences, establish new partnerships, explore possibilities for joint study programmes at UPJ\u0160, and strengthen UPJ\u0160&#8217;s position within the Aurora
