On Tuesday, October 21, 2025<\/strong>, at 2 p.m., the International Board of Pavol Jozef \u0160af\u00e1rik University in Ko\u0161ice<\/strong> held a meeting. The meeting was attended by its members: Prof. MUDr. Daniel Pella, PhD., rector of UPJ\u0160 and chairman of the Board; Doc. Ing. Silvia Ru\u010dinsk\u00e1, PhD, University Professor, Vice-Rector for Internationalization; Prof. PhDr. J\u00e1n \u010cerm\u00e1k, CSc. from Charles University in Prague; Prof. Dr. Maria Jose Coperias Aguilar from the University of Valencia; Prof. Mark Wiliam Meisel, PhD. from the University of Florida, and Prof. JUDr. Ing. Michal Radvan, Ph.D. from Masaryk University in Brno. Other members of UPJ\u0160 management were invited to the meeting, including Prof. MVDr. Monika H\u00e1lanov\u00e1, PhD., Vice-Rector for Academic Qualifications and Doctoral Studies; Prof. RNDr. Ren\u00e1ta Ori\u0148akov\u00e1, DrSc., Vice-Rector for Science, Research and Projects; JUDr. \u013dudmila Elbert, PhD., university associate professor, Vice-Rector for Undergraduate and Lifelong Learning; Dr. h. c. Prof. Mgr. Sl\u00e1vka Toma\u0161\u010d\u00edkov\u00e1 Vice-Rector for International Relations, PhD.; Prof. Mgr. Jaroslav Hofierka, PhD., Vice-Rector for Quality of Education, and Prof. MUDr. Jana Ka\u0165uchov\u00e1, PhD., MBA, Chair of the Academic Senate of UPJ\u0160 in Ko\u0161ice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Vice-Rectors presented the achievements, ongoing and planned activities of the university, as well as the current challenges and opportunities for its development.<\/strong> Subsequently, the members of the International Board discussed specific quality indicators and the university’s performance with the UPJ\u0160 management. At the end of the meeting, the Board’s operating procedures and other tasks were established.<\/p>\n\n\n
