On Thursday, November 6, 2025, Peter Pellegrini, President of Slovak republic, appointed 31 new university professors at the Presidential Palace.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his speech, Peter Pellegrini praised the work and dedication of\u00a0new professors, whose appointment, according to him, represents not only a personal achievement but also a significant contribution to the development of science, education, and society. “You are among the elite of our academic community. You are one \u00a0those who have the opportunity to fundamentally shape not only the academic environment but, above all, future generations of students,” said the president, pointing out the importance of education and science for the prosperity of the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to him, science and innovative thinking are the key to our country’s ability to face today’s challenges, from healthcare and technology to social development, and to progress as a modern, open, and educated country. President of the Slovak Republic also highlighted the personal and professional contributions of the newly appointed professors and emphasized their importance in shaping the future of the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following professors from UPJ\u0160 in Ko\u0161ice also received their appointment decrees from the president:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25aa prof. MVDr. Martina Bago Pil\u00e1tov\u00e1 PhD<\/a>.<\/strong>, in the field of pharmacology for the habilitation and inauguration procedure\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25aa prof. Ing. Mgr. Jozef Bavo\u013e\u00e1r PhD.<\/a><\/strong>, in the field of habilitation and inauguration proceedings in social psychology and occupational psychology\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25aa prof. RNDr. Vladim\u00edra Tome\u010dkov\u00e1 PhD.<\/a><\/strong>, in the field of habilitation and inauguration proceedings in medical, clinical and pharmaceutical biochemistry<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25aa prof. JUDr. Peter Moln\u00e1r PhD.<\/a><\/strong>, in the field of habilitation and inauguration proceedings in civil law\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
