The webinar addresses the topic of research data and intellectual property<\/strong>, covering issues such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 when data are considered subject to copyright protection;
\u2013 when copyright law applies and when patents are relevant;
\u2013 open data<\/strong> and legal frameworks, directives applicable in the Slovak, European, and international contexts;
\u2013 open research data and personal data (GDPR);
\u2013 which research data can be licensed under public licenses and under what conditions;
\u2013 the difference between the CC0 tool and public data licenses (e.g., ODC, OGL, CDLA);
\u2013 databases<\/strong> and their copyright protection, public licenses;
\u2013 research data and AI<\/strong> \u2013 EU and Slovak regulations governing this area;
\u2013 software<\/strong> and its copyright protection, use of public software licenses, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
