Dear employees and students,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pavol Jozef \u0160af\u00e1rik University in Ko\u0161ice is participating in the 8th annual nationwide collection for seniors: How much love can fit into a shoebox<\/strong>, organized by Ko\u013eko L\u00e1sky, o. z.<\/strong>  All collected boxes and their content will be donated as Christmas gift to seniors<\/strong>, primarily in senior care facilities or to seniors in social services facilities, then in hospitals in geriatric or long-term care wards, hospices, and after covering all facilities across Slovakia, the remaining boxes will be distributed to local governments where seniors living alone are registered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can drop off the boxes individually at collection points set up by the collection organizers.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

List of collection points 2025<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you plan to drop off your box on your way to work or school<\/strong>, we have set up a collection point at the Rectorate of Pavol Jozef \u0160af\u00e1rik University in Ko\u0161ice at \u0160rob\u00e1rova 2<\/strong>, where you can drop off your donations from November 26 to December 4, 2025, on weekdays between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.<\/strong> After the collection at UPJ\u0160 ends, we will arrange for the boxes to be transported by the collection coordinator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fill a shoebox with little something from each of the following categories:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Something sweet<\/strong>\u00a0(biscuits, chocolate, gingerbread),
Something salty<\/strong>\u00a0(pretzels, crackers),
Something to keep warm<\/strong>\u00a0(tea, coffee, hot chocolate),
Something cozy<\/strong>\u00a0(gloves, knitted socks),
Something scented <\/strong>(shower gel, hand cream, perfume),
Something to enjoy<\/strong>\u00a0(book, crossword puzzles, magazine),
Something to remember<\/strong>\u00a0(angel figurine, postcard, picture).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wrap the shoebox with the lid and bottom separately, so that the box can be opened without damage to check its contents.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
