As a research and educational institution, UPJ\u0160 contributes to the development and implementation of the new joint European Master\u2019s programme, <em>Digital Society, Social Innovation, and Global Citizenship<\/em>, as well as to all other key objectives of the project.<\/div><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Specific Roles of UPJ\u0160<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Academic participation and content development\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>UPJ\u0160 contributes to the design of the Master\u2019s curriculum and participates in its accreditation and implementation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It contributes to the development and implementation of teaching modules, particularly in the areas of public policy, management, regional development, and culture.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It participates in research activities at the European level.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quality of education and evaluation\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>UPJ\u0160 is a member of the Microcredential Evaluation Committee, which helps ensure the high quality of the educational programmes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It contributes to the evaluation and quality monitoring of the educational modules.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Professional development and training\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The University participates in the development of lifelong learning modules, including training for teachers and professionals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It also coordinates partner institutions in the areas of training and professional development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Translation and localisation of educational materials\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>EURIDICE aims to make education widely accessible, and UPJ\u0160 contributes to the translation and regional implementation of modules in Slovak.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cooperation and dissemination of results\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>UPJ\u0160 coordinates cooperation with other academic and professional partners in Central and Eastern Europe.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The University contributes to the dissemination of project results through professional events, seminars, and other activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table is-style-stripes\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><tbody><tr><td><strong>Prof. Martin Pek\u00e1r<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-zakladna-modra-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-1\"><strong>Professor at the Department of History, Faculty of Arts, UPJ\u0160<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-zakladna-modra-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-2\">His main research interests include the political and social history of the 20th century, the history of the Holocaust in Slovakia, and the quality of history education.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-zakladna-modra-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-3\">He is responsible for the quality of several study programmes at the Department, particularly with regard to their compliance with the ESG and their integration of modern didactic approaches and digital tools.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-zakladna-modra-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-4\">He has led several research projects, the most significant of which was the H2020-MSCA-ITN project History of European Urbanism in the 20th Century (2016\u20132021).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-zakladna-modra-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-5\">He serves as a member of ERC evaluation panels, contributing to the advancement of frontier research at the European level.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-zakladna-modra-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-6\">Within the EURIDICE project, he is responsible for activities related to the development, accreditation, and implementation of the EJM and is developing courses in Digital Public History.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-zakladna-modra-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-7\">E-mail: <a href=\"mailto:martin.pekar@upjs.sk\">martin.pekar@upjs.sk<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-zakladna-modra-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-8\">ORCID: 0000-0001-5341-7158<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table is-style-stripes\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><tbody><tr><td><strong>prof. Silvia Ru\u010dinsk\u00e1<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Head of the Department of Public Policy and Theory of Public Administration, Faculty of Public Administration<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Her research focuses on openness, transparency, and the modernisation of public administration, digital and green solutions in public administration, eGovernment, and smart cities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>She has completed several research and professional stays abroad.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>She worked as an Associate Professor at the University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration and Finance Ludwigsburg in Germany and at the Faculty of Public Policies of the Silesian University in Opava, Czech Republic.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>She participated in the international DiGreen project focusing on green and digital cities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>She is a member of the international Counterfake team, which focuses on the analysis of disinformation in public policy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From 2022 to 2023, she and her team worked for the OECD on research and a study examining the implementation of the CAF methodology in public administration institutions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At UPJ\u0160, she currently manages the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Within the EURIDICE project, she is a member of the working group developing courses for teachers and the general public in the field of Digital Humanism.
