The QMAGNA team participated in\u00a013 international projects:<\/p>\n
Successful user projects at Large-scale facilities<\/strong><\/p>\n Participation in the Slovak Research and Development Agency bilateral projects with partners from the Beijing National Laboratory for Molecular Sciences, Beijing, China, has contributed to increasing the competences of the team members in an interdisciplinary research and helped to know the approach to the scientific work at renowned Asian universities better.<\/p>\n Successful joint projects with US partners, supported by the National Science Foundation enabled to pursue our research activities in the milieu of University of Florida, to gain access to the so-called Large-scale facility (NHMFL Tallahassee) and led to a postdoctoral stay of the team member (Dr. E. \u010ci\u017em\u00e1r) at the above university.<\/p>\n The team participated in the EU project “Highly Frustrated Magnetism” within the so-called a la carte program (ESF RNP HFM8), with Prof. M. Orend\u00e1\u010d acting as the project coordinator for Slovakia. This led to the presentation of the team in the field of magnetism of frustrated systems within the European Research Area, enabled the implementation of the proposed experiments in European large-scale facilities and led to collaboration with renowned European groups.<\/p>\n The team is a partner in the bilateral project between UPJ\u0160 and the Argonne National Laboratory awarded by the US Department of Energy with the aim to study the surfaces using synchrotron radiation. Access to measurements at the Advanced Photon Source equipment, which is one of the most powerful source of X-ray radiation in the Western hemisphere, significantly expands our experimental possibilities for the characterization of surfaces and processes on them by means of most advanced experimental facilities.<\/p>\n The team is also a part of European project European Microkelvin Platform, INTEGRATING AND OPENING RESEARCH INFRASTRUCTURES OF EUROPEAN INTEREST under the call H2020-INFRAIA-2014-2015.<\/p>\n In addition, members of the team were principal investigators of 25 projects in total, of which 10 were financed by the Slovak Research and Development Agency, 12 by the Scientific grant agency of the Ministry of Education Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic and of Slovak Academy of Sciences and 3 by the Agency of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic for the Structural Funds of EU.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The QMAGNA team participated in\u00a013 international projects: Theoretical and experimental study of spin dynamics in the planar S = 1 Heisenberg magnetics (1996-1998), Slovak – Greek project N8 Physics and Technology at very low temperatures, (1995-1998), PECO ERB 3563 PL 935002 New magnetic excitations in low-dimensional magnetic systems, (1998-2000), NSF – INT 97 22935 Characterization … Continued<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"parent":24797,"menu_order":5,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_editorskit_title_hidden":false,"_editorskit_reading_time":0,"_editorskit_is_block_options_detached":false,"_editorskit_block_options_position":"{}","footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-25051","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":{"acf_link_na_externy_obsah":""},"yoast_head":"\n\n
