The Board is an advisory body to the Rector of UPJ\u0160<\/mark>, whose activities are focused on the support and development of the internal system of ensuring and verifying the quality<\/mark> of education, quality of research, development, artistic or other creative activity and quality of support activities of the university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Members of the Board are appointed and removed by the Rector, while taking into account the proportional representation of the major fields of science, art and education at the university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Four members of the BIQV are appointed by the rector after discussion in the UPJ\u0160 Management, six members based on the proposal of the UPJ\u0160 Academic Senate in Ko\u0161ice and five based on the proposals of the faculty deans after discussion in the faculty managements. At least four members from the quota proposed by the UPJ\u0160 AS must be from the student part of the UPJ\u0160 Academic Community. At least four members of the BIQV are recognized experts (potential employers) who are not members of the UPJ\u0160 Academic Community, with two appointed within the quota proposed by the rector and two within the quota proposed by the UPJ\u0160 AS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The competence of the Board for Internal Quality Verification UPJ\u0160 (BIV UPJ\u0160) is defined by its Statute<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rules and requirements of the meeting are regulated by the Rules of Procedure<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
