As part of the project Audit of the level of internationalisation and implementation of internationalisation projects of higher education institutions and research institutions<\/a><\/strong>, three trips by doctoral students from the Faculty of Science were financially supported during the summer months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In July 2025, Tamara \u0160a\u0161kov\u00e1 took part in an international field study trip focused on the ecology of soil organisms in Arctic mountains ecosystems in Abisko National Park in northern Sweden. This field research was organized by the Abisko Scientific Research Station. The aim was to provide practical training in field methods for collecting and processing soil fauna in specific Arctic conditions. The knowledge and experience gained are directly applicable in doctoral research and in teaching subjects focused on ecology and field research methods. Participation in the event also allowed for networking with academic institutions in Sweden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mgr. Ivana Moj\u017ei\u0161ov\u00e1 and RNDr. Vikt\u00f3ria \u010c\u00e1kyov\u00e1 had the opportunity to experience a five-day summer school program in Cergy and Paris that combined keynote lectures, practical laboratory training, poster sessions, and valuable networking. Throughout the week, they explored advanced topics in biomaterials, drug delivery, regenerative medicine, imaging, and scientific integrity, guided by leading international experts. Each day offered a mix of in-depth educational talks, flash presentations, and meet-the-professor sessions that allowed them to engage directly with researchers. The summer school also included several social events, including a welcome cocktail, wine & cheese poster section, a flyboat activity, and a gala dinner, which made the experience both academically enriching and socially memorable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participation in the above activities is in line with Objective 17 of the Action Plan \u2013 Supporting the internationalisation of education and research at the Faculty of Science and contributed to strengthening the internationalisation of the Faculty of Science.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
