{"id":99835,"date":"2025-06-27T13:13:00","date_gmt":"2025-06-27T11:13:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.upjs.sk\/?p=99835"},"modified":"2025-12-11T13:15:57","modified_gmt":"2025-12-11T12:15:57","slug":"course-on-entrepreneurship-and-innovation-in-the-usa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.upjs.sk\/en\/course-on-entrepreneurship-and-innovation-in-the-usa\/","title":{"rendered":"Course on Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the USA"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In June 2025, Dominika Kotl\u00e1rov\u00e1 and Daniela Pill\u00e1rov\u00e1 from the Faculty of Science at UPJ\u0160 in Ko\u0161ice completed a two-week visit to the USA under the project\u00a0<strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.upjs.sk\/en\/information\/international-relations\/internalisation-support\/\">Audit of the level of internationalisation and implementation of\u00a0internationalisation projects of higher education institutions and research institutions<\/a>, Activity 17.1 &#8211; Support of participation at international events.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The purpose of the stay was the successful completion of a certified course focused on entrepreneurship and innovation. The course took place in Lafayette, Louisiana, in cooperation with the University of Louisiana and the organization Opportunity Machine. During the program, participants had the opportunity to develop their own startup concept \u2013 from the initial idea to its final presentation to investors. The objective was to strengthen the entrepreneurial, communication, and teamwork skills of the participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The stay also included the establishment of new contacts, familiarization with the local culture, and visits to several successful companies, which contributed to linking professional development with practice.
