As during previous years, the\u00a0Department of British and American Studies FF UPJ\u0160<\/mark><\/strong>\u00a0organised an event called\u00a0Maturitn\u00e9 t\u00fd\u017edne otvoren\u00fdch dver\u00ed<\/strong>. This event provided students of various high schools in Ko\u0161ice with an opportunity to find out more about university studies and our department. Students were presented with an overview of study programmes provided, they were provided with information about Erasmus programmes and internships, which they can attend during their studies, they had an opportunity to test their knowledge of English via a quiz and they were also informed about their options regarding the study of the French language at our department. Aside from these presentations, students had an opportunity to try out interpretation in our simultaneous interpretation laboratory and were provided with guided tour of our campus.
We would like to thank everyone who attended this event, and we hope that friendly and informal atmosphere convinced many students to come study at the BAS FF UPJ\u0160.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
