We recently had the pleasure of welcoming\u00a0Dr\u202fM\u00e1t\u00e9 Gergely Balogh<\/strong>, a guest lecturer from the Institute of English and American Studies at the University of Debrecen and a visiting researcher at the John Lukacs Institute of the University of Public Service, at the\u00a0Department of British and American Studies, Faculty of Arts, Pavol Jozef \u0160af\u00e1rik University in Ko\u0161ice<\/mark><\/strong>. Dr\u202fBalogh delivered a lecture entitled \u201cImmigration Trends to America \u2013 Policies and Their Consequences,\u201d addressing one of the most contentious and vigorously debated issues in contemporary U.S. public discourse. Immigration has remained a central topic in American media and political debate, particularly since the inauguration of Donald Trump.
The event, held on 16 March 2026, was co\u2011organized in collaboration with the Mathias Corvinus Collegium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
