Dedicated to the memory of Professor Gary Libben<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In June 2025, it will be 20\u00a0years since the first edition of the Word-Formation Theories conference, which mapped the state of the art in the field in combination with the publication of \u0160tekauer & Lieber (eds.) 2005, Handbook of Word-Formation (Dordrecht: Springer). The subsequent period witnessed a dynamic development of word-formation theories, both in breadth and depth. Therefore, the central topic of the 2025\u00a0conference will be the developments in word-formation theories. Abstracts of up to 300\u00a0words, covering any aspect of this broadly defined topic, should be sent via e-mail to\u00a0pavel.stekauer@upjs.sk<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n
