\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Students of the Faculty of Medicine, UPJ\u0160 organized the fifth year of the educational event MOVEMBER focused on spreading public awareness about testicular and prostate cancer on Saturday, November 16. 2019. The successful event of the Club of Public Health of the Association of Medical Students in Ko\u0161ice, whose symbol is mustache, took place from 9.00 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Aupark Shopping Center in Ko\u0161ice. Medical students addressed a total of 735 visitors, which is a record so far. \n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u201cWe are very pleased that we have addressed over seven hundred men, to whom we have made clear the importance and possibilities of the prevention of testicular and prostate cancer, especially the importance of self-examination of testes. We had a silicone model at which we explained the correct technique of self-examination. It is possible to detect a dangerous formation by self-examination, but it is necessary to know the right technique,\u201d <\/strong><\/em>says Lule Tomiq, co-organizer of the event, a student of the 6th year at the Faculty of Medicine, UPJ\u0160.
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Fourteen medical students participated in the event and professional counseling was provided by the employees of the Department of Urology FM UPJ\u0160 and UNLP \u013dubom\u00edr Lachv\u00e1\u010d, M.D., PhD., Patr\u00edcia Horv\u00e1thov\u00e1, M.D. and Vladim\u00edra Sobolov\u00e1, M.D.<\/p>\n
