The Department of Vascular Surgery participates in the undergraduate teaching of Faculty of Medicine UPJ\u0160 within the doctoral study program of general medicine and dentistry in Slovak and English language, it is an accredited workplace of specialized study in the specialized field of vascular surgery, and also participates in doctoral studies in internal and external form.<\/p>\n

It performs a program of scientific research activities focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of peripheral arterial disease of the limbs. The clinic, as a part of V\u00daSCH, jsc. – one of the three highly specialized workplaces in the Slovak Republic (with comprehensive care for patients with cardiovascular diseases), provides health care to patients with vascular diseases for all regions of the Slovak Republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
