Daniel Pella, M.D., PhD.\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0received the Ko\u0161ice City Award<\/strong><br \/>\non the occasion of his jubilee for significant scientific and pedagogical achievements in the field of preventive cardiology on a European scale and the development and modernization of the Faculty of Medicine, UPJ\u0160<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#c0392b\"><strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 The team of the Department of Paediatric Anaesthesiology and Intensive Medicine, UPJ\u0160 FM, and CHUH Ko\u0161ice\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0was awarded the Ko\u0161ice City Award<\/strong><br \/>\nfor intensive highly specialized care of children in critical situations in the whole Eastern Slovakia region (the award was taken over by the Head of the Department M\u00e1ria Pisar\u010d\u00edkov\u00e1, M.D., PhD.)<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#c0392b\"><strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0prof. Ing. M\u00e1ria Marekov\u00e1, CSc.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0received the Award of Mayor of the City of Ko\u0161ice<\/strong><br \/>\non the occasion of the jubilee for scientific and pedagogical activity in the preparation of future doctors and doctoral students in the study programme Clinical Biochemistry<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#c0392b\"><strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0prof.
