A place that feels like a second home to you. For the photographer <strong>FRANTI\u0160EK ADAM\u010c\u00cdK<\/strong>, that place is <strong>Sivec<\/strong> Hill and the countryside around the <strong>Ru\u017e\u00edn<\/strong> reservoir. He has been spending his free time in this beautiful part of Slovakia since the 1990s and has climbed to the summit over a hundred times since then. When he began to take a more active interest in photography, the natural landscape of Sivec and its surrounding forests became his studio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year saw the release of the photographer\u2019s publication *Sivec and Its Surroundings Through the Lens*, which showcases the most beautiful images he has captured over more than a decade while walking through this enchanting part of Slovakia. You can view these captured moments in the book, and a selection of 30 photographs is also on display at an exhibition in the UPJ\u0160 Botanical Garden in Ko\u0161ice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a nature lover, the author aims to use this exhibition to highlight that nature at Sivec and in its surrounding area is not only beautiful but also fragile\u2014and that we should, therefore, value and protect it all the more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>DATES:<\/em><\/strong> <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-zakladna-zlata-color\">7 November to 29 November 2026<\/mark><\/strong>, daily from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-zakladna-modra-color\">OPENING:<\/mark><\/em> <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-palette-1-color\"><strong>6 November 2026 at 5:00 pm<\/strong><\/mark> \u2013 the event will also include a <em>book launch<\/em> and a book sale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We invite you to a special photography exhibition: THE NATURE OF SIVEC.
