On June 28, 2021, a meeting with the World Bank took place on the premises of UPJ\u0160 in Ko\u0161ice on Jesenn\u00e1 Street, which was attended by the director of TIP-UPJ\u0160, prof. JUDr. Ren\u00e1ta Ba\u010d\u00e1rov\u00e1, PhD., LL.M., Lawyer of the Center for Technology Transfer, JUDr. Laura R\u00f3zenfeldov\u00e1, PhD., Head of the Department of Business and Marketing TIP-UPJ\u0160, Mgr. Roman Oros, Specialist for the Department of Business and Marketing TIP-UPJ\u0160, Mgr. Vikt\u00f3ria Ban\u010dansk\u00e1, Marketing and PR manager TIP-UPJ\u0160, Mgr. Slavom\u00edra Hrabovsk\u00e1 and representatives from the World Bank Grzegorz Aleksander Wolszczak, Leader for R&D components CuRI KSK and Krzysztof Malicki, Specialist for R&D components CuRI KSK.<\/p>\n

Based on the recommendations of the World Bank, Mgr. Vikt\u00f3ria Ban\u010dansk\u00e1 presented the application of two ways of releasing the R&D infrastructure, namely the release of the R&D infrastructure for commercial purposes without any restrictions and the release of the R&D infrastructure for commercial purposes in the amount of 20% of auxiliary capacity. Participants discussed the simplest methods of calculating ancillary capacity to be used by the private sector. These activities will strengthen cooperation between universities and the private sector, enabling private companies to use the university’s scientific infrastructure for commercial purposes. The result of this meeting is the elaboration of specific calculations for the release of the infrastructure of the Center for Interdisciplinary Biosciences TIP-UPJ\u0160 on Jesenn\u00e1 Street and the subsequent support and consultation of the World Bank representatives in their implementation.
