The \u201cFEBS3+ Meeting: XXVIIIth BIOCHEMISTRY CONGRESS<\/strong><\/a> of the Czech and Slovak Societies for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and with participation of Polish and German Biochemical Societies\u201d with the motto \u201cUnlocking of the Secrets of Life\u201d, took place in Prague at the National Technical Library from 7 to 10 September 2025<\/strong> on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the original Czechoslovak Biochemical Society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Several employees and PhD students from the Center for Interdisciplinary Biosciences, TIP UPJ\u0160 in Ko\u0161ice, actively participated. Prof. Sedl\u00e1k delivered a lecture titled \u201cEvolution of Haloalkane Dehalogenase by Ribosome Display<\/strong>\u201d<\/em>, and dr. Tomkov\u00e1 presented her findings in a poster entitled \u201cDirected Evolution of Staphylokinase Improves Fibrinolytic Activity<\/strong>\u201d<\/em>. In addition, Prof. Sedl\u00e1k and Dr. Tomkov\u00e1 also served as chairpersons of the Enzyme<\/em> and Biotechnology<\/em> sections, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n
