\u201cA Second Chance for Coffee \u2013 Let\u2019s Find Sustainable Solutions\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Every day, not only in Slovakia, tons of used ground coffee are thrown away from households, offices and cafes. This waste can be a valuable raw material \u2014 if we can properly dry, store and reuse it<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The UPJ\u0160 Technology and Innovation Park in Ko\u0161ice (TIP-UPJ\u0160)<\/strong> announces a student competition on the topic:<\/p>\n\n\n\n “A Second Chance for Coffee – How to Capture, Dry and Utilize It”<\/mark><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Your task:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Design a small container, vessel or device<\/strong> with the lowest possible energy consumption that will allow:<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 to easily collect<\/strong> used coffee, Your proposal can be:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 a design product for the home or a caf\u00e9, What you can get<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The best three proposals will be awarded with financial prizes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n 1st place \u2013 \u20ac500 In addition, you will get:<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 the opportunity to present your idea in the TIP-UPJ\u0160 incubator<\/strong>,
\u2022 to dry or stabilize<\/strong> it in an ecological and hygienic way,
\u2022 and to safely store<\/strong> it for further processing<\/p>\n\n\n\n
